MATT HIBBERT
A fourteen-year professional outfielder, has played in five independent leagues with eight ball clubs. Mostly recently playing with two clubs in the 2024 season. After two successful seasons at LA Harbor College, Hibbert transferred to Long Beach State with a full scholarship. He earned accolades such as 2011 All Big West Outfielder and Scholar Athlete of the Year. In his pro career, he contributed to the Sonoma Stompers' 2016 championship. Hibbert also played in the Atlantic League starting in 2018, and joined the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in 2021 for four seasons, excelling defensively and offensively. With 10 years of coaching experience, he coaches high school and youth baseball and conducts sport-specific training during the offseason.
BRENNAN METZGER
A former Long Beach State Dirtbag, spent 10 years in professional baseball. He was a 4-year starter in Centerfield at Long Beach (2009-2012), earning 3x Academic All American honors, 2012 First Team All Big West selection, and 2012 Big West Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year. Drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2012, he played 4 seasons with them, becoming their Minor League player of the month in August 2014. Brennan later played in The American Association of Professional Baseball (2016-2023) with multiple clubs including the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and the Chicago Dogs. As a pro athlete who battles Crohn's Disease, my aim is to inspire by showing that overcoming life's obstacles is possible through self-care, positivity, and continuous self-improvement.
